Historical Information
One of the most famous part of the city mbdin is Usmania Muhalla. Its original name was Ghandi Muhalla and since few years ,its called Usmania Muhalla. The boundaries of this muhalla are sorrounded by main historical parts of the city. In North of it is mbdin main Railway Station (old Pindi Railway Station). On west side of it is main bazar of city mbdin called Sadar Bazar. On east side of it is one of the biggest Muhalla of city mbdin called Ghorra Muhalla. On South of it is famous bazar called Katchary Road.

This part of the city is most developed part of mbdin city. Most of the people of this muhalla are highly educated like doctors, Engineers, Professors, Lawyers and are serving on very high posts in Civil and govt. Services. Many families of this muhalla are migrated to Europe, USA and Canada. Most of the people in this part of the city have very good business and are economically very good and rich. This part of the city is also very commercial. There are also main printing press markets. Many Electronic shops for sale and service are there. Here are many famous bazars (streets), shopping centers, malls and Plazas. Also one the famous Plaza of the city called Yasin Plaza is also in this part. There are many historical buildings as well as most modern buildings.
There are many Wood stalls and wood factories in this part. Also many tailors shops and computer shops are in this part. Two of the most famous religious places " Imam Bazgah" and Ghausia Mosque are also in this part. There was also most famous flea market ( Kabaar Khana). Because this muhalla is very close to Main Railway station, there are many agencies and product suppliers in this part.
Also the main banks of the city have main branches in this part. There are also many educational acadmies.
So this part of the city is both Commercial as well residential area.
Problems of this Part
The main problem of this city part is cleanliness. There are many spots full of garbage and dirt.
Urgent need of this part
To have some social and welfare organisations that care for the the big problems of this part especially garbage and dirt. Also to have some clean and green play grounds for small childern.
