Hi all, i want to share a very good news about this website which played a crucial role in the making of my future. This is probably the second time when i have been visiting this website. i did visit it a few days before my CSS 2008 interview. Luckily, i got all the stuff from this site regarding my district. ALHUMDULLILAH, i came off with flying colours in that interview. All the questions asked by the panel regarding M.B.Din were answered by myself up to their satisfaction. I am deeply thankul to the administration of this site for their effort of developing this site and i appreciate their spirit. (REGARDS) ATIF NAZIR KADHAR.

i think in my country prevailing of poverty is the root cause of terrorism.
when you will not be given proper justice n merit system.people will resist againt state.

I think we need a One Way road from M.B.Din city to Sargodha. I have seen several accidents on the prevailing road which is too narrow to accommodate the traffic. One more thing: Our district government should try to abolish what we call Tajawuzaat( the area on either side of the road being used by people) on across the roads.

Its my pleasure that i meet Sharif Sabir on 05/07/2008. Sharif Sabir is very nice person. He is 80 years old. He did lot of work on Heer Waris Shah. Govt. of Pakistan awareded him Pride of Performance. He is a man who distilled the Heer Waris Shah. Many people like Peeran Ditta added his own poetry in Heer Waris Shah. Govt. of Punjab appointed him as Head of Waris Shah Memorial Socity. He purify Heer Waris shah according to handwritten of Heer Waris Shah. Certainly it is a great effort. I pay salam to Sahrif Sabir for his great struggle.

Sunan of Abu-Dawood Hadith 2419 Narrated by Abu Qatadah

The Messenger of Allah (saws) said: ‘The observance of three days` fast every month and of one Ramadan to the other (i.e. the fast of Ramadan every year) is (equivalent to) a perpetual fast. I seek from Allah that fasting on the day of Arafah may atone for the sins of the preceding and the coming year, and I seek from Allah that fasting on the day of Ashura` may atone for the sins of the preceding year.’

The only thing that i want to say about this website is...you surely do not have a good photographer...seems like scenes are captured very roughly with an average camera by an average photographer or not even by a photographer but a non professional person.

My father lives no more and I don't think there is anyone who would have photos of 1930's and 40's.I was of course born after the partition but memories of Hariya and the rich village life as well as swimming in the nearby Nehar were so well etched in my father;s memories which he used to share with us and have remained my prized possession.He was a great singer and used to sing Heer-Ranjha and think of his childhood days in Malakwal.

Thanks to Internet advances that I can see the entire picture of Mandi Bahauddin and Malakwal also Hariya.

I am a Healthcare Advisor in Delhi and if there is a need to set up a good small hospital in the village Hariya I can render my assistance whatever possible at my end.I find on education front also there is something that I could possibly do as a respect to my ancestral place.

Life becomes so rich and meaningful when you get a reply like this from unexpected and unknown quarters.

Salam to everyone. I am going to upload poetry of Ahmad Yaar Murlavi soon. On Saturday 24/05/2008 i visited Mumtaz Ahmad Bhatti, present member of Ahmad Yaar Murlavi's family and Ex-Head of the Department, Government College of Technology, Rasul. Now a days he is admited in Service Hospital, Lahore for his treatment. He also told me something very astonishing that he had a Quran-e-Pak which he assume that this Quran-e-Pak was written by Hazrat Ali. This Quran-e-Pak was given to Ahmad Yaar Muralvi by an Arab Trader who visited Murala and stayed at mosque of Murala one night. We discussed the poetry of Ahmad Yaar Murlavi. We also have planned to make Ahmad Yaar Murlavi Foundation. Mumaz Ahmad Bhatti sahib provided me copies of various books written by Ahmad Yaar Muralvi. Mumtaz Ahmad Bhatti is also good poet. He does poetry in Urdu and Punjabi. I also requested him to provide me his own poetry so that i can upload it.

There is no proper arrangement for cleanliness of the city and its surroundings. Garbage is being droped in populated areas.
Lte us have a look near railway line a vast area have been covered by droping wastage/garbage which causing no diseases for the citizens and it is not a good view for the such a sweet city.
Administrative authorities be warned to manage this properly and following action be taken :-
a. Garbage be dropped far away from the city.
b. Wastage arround the railway line near PHATTAK be removed.

otherwise I will take same problems to most higher authorities against the defaulters/culprits.

Hi my names Muhammad Malik im orignally from Karachi and still live there, studying in the United States at the moment, i wanted to know what the significance of Maliks is with the name Malakwal. I want to know if the name was orignated from Malik Muhammad Sufi Din, because i am his great grandson and from what i know is that Mohaala sufi pura in Mandi Bahauddin is kept after his name, but wanted to know if Malakwal had got something to do with the family name Malik or not. Please enlighten me if anyone has any information regarding it. Although I am bit late to participate this conversations Anyhow I am feeling well…….it is interesting to read the comments from the people living abroad. Dear All,

I’d love to add a summary about future development ideas and current progress situations in M.B.Din city as well as Munshi Muhallah and its adjacent areas.

Future Plans.
Civilized citizens of M.B.Din are suffering from the lack of public places like Parks, Play Ground, Kids Play Home and Gymnasium. There is only one park in the center of city so those people live near can only get the advantage of this facility. This park is very small so the males and females have the same option. Women also face the hooting problem while they were in park. There should be separate recreation place purely for the women. Regarding the Civil Hospital doctors rarely found there. This hospital didn’t provide the patients with medicines like the other hospitals do in Lahore and Islamabad. It has not been able to have the medical instruments for the normal operation. So poor people having no benefit of this public facility they have to run towards the private clinics. I am living here from last 23 years, i am sorry to say there is no progress regarding roads and streets.
I humbly request to development Authority of M.B.Din please overcome these entire problems ASAP.

Current Situation:
As we knew the dream of Sui gas (flammable gas) partially came true. I called it partially because only some people are availing this facility from last 2 years. Because development authority failed to launch their Sui gas net work yet. Every street and colony has dig up for the phone and gas cables but there is no action to refill it and coming season is rainy. Working speed is very slow. Last time I went to my village i saw public sign board with message “Please drive slow working ahead�?. After passing through under development area I thought this sentence will work more effectively as
“Please drive�?------------------------“slow working ahead�?
It is requested to Politician members please have bird eye review on all these matters. Please take them serious as much as you take your home problems. These are the core issues in my city.
Although it will be very tough to arrange each and every thing at the spot. But necessary needs should be fulfill immediately.

I agree with Mr. Nasrullah Khan and Mr. Akhtar Rasool about improving the standard of education in our area and send childern to good schools. But I think most often about one problem that majority of our students are very arm and their families cannot afford to send them to costly or private schools. Also those childern have problem that their parents donot know how important is education for their childern and they just get more childern in order to send them either in fields to work or send them for mazdoori. I have lernt from my practical experience that even those families who can afford to send their childern to some good schools donot think about it and everybody think that their child will go abroad and send them money back and they donot know how big is difference if their childern come abroad with good qualification or without good education. We people who are educated and are working abroad should come forward and think over this problem.

Idea for database for community abroad from Mandi Bahauddin:

It is necessary to make a database of the comminity staying abroad. I want to discuss this topic in detail in my next telephone call. Some imporant points are:
- It must be possible that user can add information using some options.
- Options like , navigating area in Mandi Bahauddin, abroad contact (like e-mial or phone if user like), etc must be possible.
- It must be possible to know in which country who is living with some kind of programming.
- Latter such kind of data will bring the people closer.
- It will also help to develop business, industry, or kind of activity for the local people.

"choudhry ibny choudhry"looting taxes , gov. grants and "badmashi style governece". I hav'nt come accross a single person among any leader,who was sicere with Mandi since ages. All of them live in Lahore or Isalmabad and do not care about the roads, schools or hospitals.You have to decide about your future yourself by picking young educated, sincere and people of character as our new leaders. Great!!!, thanks for such quick turnaround time. Thank you for the link,its been a pleasure just to have a look of the place where your ancestors belonged to.
I'm just 31 and what ever I know about Qadirabad is through the elders in my family,they're no more. My father was born in Qadirabad in 1940, then they shifted to Lucknow in 1942.
I've been told by my aunt that the place we belonged was known as the "Village of Kapoor's" and had a temple belonging to Kapoor's.Our's was a family of Landlords and my grand father Mr. Ramnath Kapoor( only high school pass) was the most educated person of the village at that point of time.I'VE BEEN TOLD THAT OURS WAS A VERY WELL KNOWN FAMILY.
I know this is very little information for you to do anything meaningfu. Still, I do intend to visit Pakistan and visit the village of my ancestors and your help has just strenghthened my resolve.
Looking forward to meet you people and visit the great town of Lahore, in case you plan to visit India keep me in the loop and definitely visit my city Lucknow, know for its Kebabs and ABOVE ALL its "NAZAQAT AND NAFAZAT".

This website is refered to me by one of my friend. I find it very useful in the present IT environment in the world that we also have a representation in the world.

I also belong to M.B.Din's village Majhi and presently working in Islamabad. I have to visit M.B.Din after one month.

I want to suggest one thing for all the resident of Distt. M.B.Din that we should launch a compaign on our website against the corruption and eating up of public money by different govt. deptts and contractors. If you people agreed the first is roads conditions. The roads of MBDin Distt is in very pathatic condition and the same built in last one year are also facing the same problem. I think that Govt. supervisory deptt is also involved in the commision and does not perform the duty. I have wrote many times to CM Punjab and even President but in vain.
All the inhabitants of M.B.Din should comment on the Roads condition and the webmasters should arrange to convey the same to concerend authorities, so they can see the actual result of their GOOD GOVERNANCE.

Great website with lots of info. Nice to see Mbdin on the world map. Unfortunately I am unable to find my muhalla 'Quilla Gujjran' on the site, which is located on Wasu road.
This website brings back the childhood memories. I even attended the Govt. High school Wasu. My late uncle Azam Choudary was the headmaster during those days. I hear lots has changed since then...I owe the city a visit I guess.

I was really surprised and happy to see a page on M. B. Din. I see lots of people from the area are making comments. I guess all those who are abroad missing the great Mandi.

I'm also one of those who left Mandi about 20 years ago. I was born in Mandi and completed my metric from MB High school in 1980 and D.com from Commercial Institute at that time the commercial institute was located by the civil court in Gurah mohalla.

I know it has been a long time but whenever I go back I love it there.
