Dear Muhammad Mubasher Nawaz Raan Mangat I am also a 'Mangat' - I'm from Canada, my parents are from the Indian Punjab, from a village near Ludhiana. I believe that most Mangats probably originally come from your village - with the original name, and its cool to see pictures and read the history of this shared namesake! Anyhow, Sikh, Muslim or Hindu, I'm sure we all share the same blood, and its nice to see this Mangat Brotherhood online!

I think Mangat is near some famous historic battle sites too - dating back to the time of Alexander the Great - so its possible even that there is some Greek influence too?

Maan means pride right? And Gaat means...Knot? Alexander did cut the Gordian Knot - so you never know what the connections could be.

2 everybody reading this ,it s pleasure dat we ve got this site for our district where we can share our views and news.We should exchange our views and experiences and then try to practise those ideas as much as we can.To me da best thing we can do 4 oursleves and da generation which will be our successor ,2 make them concious of Islam (cos our religions covers every aspect of life ,it is advisble for all those bros who r not muslim),we need to put efforts for a higher rate of literacy i agree BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS S `` an educated person should know wat s da essence of education,there s a hell of difference between knowledge(education) and understanding(practical way to education ,core of education).My message s getting longer sorri 4 dat ,but we need to know mostly learned people behave as badly as person in darkness,and we got such elements everywhere i.e politics,education,police, etc........Although a dark night s followed by a bright day (in general)but our county,country are not abide by this rule .So first thing to be done to awaken the essence education to learned people cos it s wastage of knowledge to put it on an animal who will carry it all da way but wont get any benifit from it so please we should first know where our education s going what those people are doing who r learned ?Cos b4 stepping into a system we should know to which direction this system leads .thanx.
